How beautiful …. can you describe the smell for me? I imagine an earthy, musty but rainy aroma with a bit of pine.

I don't know.....I'm so used to it......I did smell something different today though.....I couldn't place it.....almost almond......I couldn't imagine where it came from....then it would disappear.....then I would get another whiff......There is nothing new in the forest.....no flowers blooming or fruit ripening this time of year. I came across a large feral Holly tree with berries, but it wasn't that......Then when I was almost home, I realized it was the new water-proofing I had put on my leather boots......

.....Thus are my tiny adventures in the time of Covid.
