Paradox

I entertain the concept that ancestral memory is inherent in environment....The voices waiting to be freed from granite bluffs, the ocean and the wind......Here we are, inhabitants of this land, yet still intellectually/spiritually dependent on what was developed on other continents....in other environments.......Let's open up to the reality of the land we inhabit and those who lived and loved this land before the European arrogance claimed it.

Not sure how to answer this. It is unfortunate that when a land is invaded by an outsider, it is forcefully assimilated by the invader. When I visited Maui, Hawaii in 2004, there was a movement to reconnect people back to their land and ancient traditions.

You probably live "closer to the land" than most of us do. It may sound strange, but sometimes I sit quietly outside and contemplate what my area might have been like throughout the past.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
