He's never intentionally funny, and irony has died at his feet, but every time he says something particularly clueless, his fans insist "he was joking"......Everyone else in the world gives a "tell" when they are joking, especially important when you make a "joke" in the middle of a speech that is otherwise morbidly serious......The only way you can tell he's "joking" is apparently that he aid something stupid.....

Since he obviously gets very upset when something he said is considered stupid, one would think he would come up with a tell.....some way to indicate that he is actually joking.......so we could all get the joke......You know, like saying he is building a wall between Mexico and Colorado.......man, that Trump is such a joker......
