Lots of Scientists are involved, but they are busy doing Science.......The hole in the Ozone layer is still there....did you apply sun-screen and stay out t of the sun? Acid rain is still a thing, but has been improved by changes in regulations in car and manufacturing emissions......You know, like the ones you applaud Trump for deregulating.........There definitely is mountains of evidence that Human-produced carbon contributes significantly......Your president is definitely NOT slashing US carbon production.......in fact, he is slashing regulations that limit carbon production...Look at what he just did concerning automobile exhaust.....and his promises to increase coal-mining, steel production, oil drilling.......

Where do you think the media gets it's information? Don't you watch the hundreds of naturalists on TV, telling us the planet is in danger. scientists have been warning us for years. David Attenborough has written plenty of books about it, So have many others. The rest of the world is doing it's best to prevent many animal species from becoming extinct. From billions of trees, flora and fauna being destroyed... and millions of human beings being displaced. GIVE YOUR STARVING BRAIN A TREAT AND READ A BOOK!!!

I agree with you that the little guy is once again expected to bear the burden........and it's not fair.......it's the common people who have to take up the reigns once again.........One of the changes we need to make is our attitude towards air travel. I was chatting with some women in a lineup yesterday and they were talking about how their yoga teacher was in Africa......and another one talking about her recent trip to Europe and another had been to a wedding in Australia etc. etc. These are women who claim to be environmentalists....They were bragging.....I heard the tone, flying long distances in jet planes is prestigious in our culture.......no matter how much money you have. The airlines have very persuasive advertising.......I said to the women, that we need to stop all this travelling and several of them insisted that travel to distant places expands the mind....broadens one's outlook.....etc....I asked them if there was a way to expand the mind that doesn't produce so much carbon and they just looked at me blankly.......It's insidious......Western people have this idea....even those who claim to be environmentally conscious and ....concerned.....that the more time you spend strapped into a metal tube being hurtled through the skies by dead dinosaur juice, the better you are in every way......even spiritually......It's going to be difficult to break that addiction........
