Lovely. Will you be getting snow, or are you in a secluded paradise part of Canada, sheltered from the cold and snowing winters? Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Lovely. Will you be getting snow, or are you in a secluded paradise part of Canada, sheltered from the cold and snowing winters? My first 10 years were spent in a place where there was 6 months of snow and 6 months of bad ski-weather.........

We rarely get snow and then just 5 cm or so and disappears in a day or two. I checked my files and we did get snow a year ago....and some in the middle of Jan. Both times it stayed around only for a day or 2. The kids get so excited when it snows, but we have so little experience driving in the snow, everything goes on lock-down. My first 10 years were spent in a place where there was 6 months of snow and 6 months of bad ski-weather......... I just figured that everyone north of us had a lot of snow..... and especially in Canada, which is FAR north of us. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

That's quite interesting! We get snow all winter, sometimes a little and sometimes a lot, but the people north of us get a lot more than we do. Joe's son in Maine starts getting snow as early as October and it just piles up all winter. I just figured that everyone north of us had a lot of snow..... and especially in Canada, which is FAR north of us.

We've had this conversation before.......I live on an archipelago off the South-West Coast .....the temperature rarely dips below freezing..... There are many factors involved in climate besides latitude. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
