Our Senior Girl Scout troop in the Bay Area of California took a trip to Vancouver, Canada and took a ferry (more like a beautiful large ship) to Victoria. I have a black and white picture of the Parliament Building.

This photo is beautiful.

p.s. we had arranged to meet a group of Girl Guides our ages. They took us to the Malkin Bowl to see a play.

The first photo is the one I like the most for this Christmas season. Beautiful decoration with lights.
Enjoy the Holidays!

Yes, the ferries between Vancouver and Victoria are huge.....It's a long way and the waters can get really rough from wind and tidal action.....Also they are large cities, so a lot of cars have to fit.........The ferry on my photo is a much smaller ferry.......only 60 cars and it runs through mostly sheltered waters, though I have been on it a few times in the Winter, where I stood on the top forward deck and got soaked......

Thank you.......I treasure your presence on this site..Wishing you a lovely Christmas......My Son was born on the 22nd and his son on the 26th, so I have always had to juggle the Christmas and Birthday gifts, make sure they aren't gypped out of their Birthdays and balancing the Birthday/Christmas gift ratios between them and their siblings........LOL....I usually end up over-compensating, as I did this year. They are going to Calgary for the Holiday to his wife's family this year, so we are having a double Birthday/Christmas dinner on Friday at their house. Then we will have only a dozen or so to our Christmas dinner this year....I will be there with bells on, but my daughter has taken over most of it......She is an excellent organizer and manager, so I just have to follow her directions, LOL... ......

No I'm not a professional photographer, but the photo of the Parliament buildings and the seagulls were both taken by a friend who is semi-professional.
Have a wonderful Holiday......
