MORNING DIAMONDS....... I was getting my grandaughter ready for school this morning, I love doing that, spending that time with her, just the two of us.....brushing her lovely golden curls while we discuss what she should get for her best friend's birthday and she shares her excitement about the sleep-over pizza and movie-night party this weekend......She bubbles over with excitement and gets herself dressed and washed and brushed without any reminders.....Her nightgown, which was down to her feet when I gave it to her, is now high up above her knees.......When we go outside to wait for the school-bus, the fine mist and the rising sun has illuminated hundreds of cobwebs strewn with diamonds........    |

So precious.......Monday after school, my son-in-law teaches his 12 year old son, my other 12 year old grandson and 6 of their friends how to play a complex educational board game.....He's a children's librarian.....Anyways, there's 8 boys sitting around the table and the game is lasting overtime, so the driveway is full of cars and the moms are piling up on the porch when I arrive. I hardly ever see my son's boy since he started middle school, so I stood there , just drinking in the sight of all those 12 year old boys......They are so cute, so wonderful......My daughter-in-law see the look on my face and says "you can kiss him, he won't mind".......I said.....I dunno, he might feel embarrassed around his friends.....She said......Nah, all these boys have kissy grandmas.......So I kissed him a big smacker on his cheek and all the boys looked over and smiled and then back at their game.........I swooned.........

It's so awesome, isn't it, how the hugs change as they grow.......Thanks for sharing ....no, no better feeling than that.
