.....Maisie hasn't changed her tune since the first time I posted this cartoon.......It's as if she is blind to the mounting evidence since then......She uses the excuse that it's all about those who recognize the Environmental degredation and want to ameliorate it, are just in it for the money........What do you think motivates the deniers Maisie? What do you think motivates the oil companies? Was Tillerson just playing footsie under the table?

They believe the Bible is factual, but global warming is too far fetched to be true????

It seems to me that Maisie's obsessed by promoting her very skewed views on life and destroying liberalism. To her one-track mind only people who think like her should have freedom of speech and she has spent the last three years obsessively telling us that . She absolutely ignores the FACT that, without liberal thinking, none of us would have any of the freedoms we enjoy today. There's another big fact that some people prefer to ignore...the bible was written by people who knew less than the average 10 to 12 year old does today. I find that so laughable...they believe the stories...but would they use a doctor who practised that ancient level of medicine? Would they make women cover their hair...or would they believe, as was believed then, that women are subservient to men? Certainly not! Even though, from what Maisie says, she obviously believes that. So how can they even say they believe the bible?  What can one do but laugh!

The only part of the Bible that matters to the Christian Right is the forgiveness part......Jesus washing away their sins with his suffering.....that's all you need to know, mam. Their religion serves the purpose of tribal unity and self-justification. It's a faith of the select.....Privileged Identity Politics......
