EASTER LILY

This is a wild Fawn Lily....scattered all through the grass just above the beach in our waterfront park.......It's a late, wet Spring this year, but the Easter Lillies have perfect timing.......

A very slight fragrance.....the wandering breezes wafting through the woods and across the ocean mingle to form a refreshing draught.......LOL...The park is a long, narrow spit that is like a finger reaching towards the outer islands. One side of the spit is sheltered and is a tranquil anchorage. Just a couple a hundred meters away, is the beach that faces the mainland mountains with the layers of the archipelago and open strait.........There are some huge firs and cedars, covered in a weeping pale moss locally called "Old Man's Beard" hanging low near the ground and crowned with magnificent Bald Eagles .......there is surf on this outer shore and rafts of wild ducks gabbling and gulls soaring and diving..........We love this park and call it the heart , the soul and the jewel of the island.........

I know, I just wrote a descriptive paragraph that sounds like it's out of a romance novel, LOL..........

It is such an elegant plant/flower and your description of its subtle fragrance intermingling with wandering breezes forming a refreshing draught is one of enchantment ~ I wonder if it could be bottled? I very much enjoyed your description ~ thanks :- )
