Lernert & Sander are very talented artists, these particular pics make me wonder
if doing that would encourage children to eat all the food groups they need?

My great-granddaughter used to eat most foods but recently has begun refusing all but bread and sweet stuff. Not good at all. I suppose it's just part of the "terrible twos"! We've had to put her on special vitamin pills. I hope it's only a phase!

These are obviously planned, cut and selected with great care and deliberation.......not something to do for family meal-time. I grew veggies and fruit that would appeal to children and encouraged them to graze in the garden. Nothing a young child likes better than pulling a carrot out of the ground and washing and eating it all by themselves. Or picking and eating strawberries and other berries, or popping open a pea-pod and plucking out the bright green balls and popping it in their mouths.......I always put out cut-up raw veggies and a dip on the table first, while I was still cooking and the children were hungry.....counting on that low blood sugar to drive their appetites.......Worked like a charm....We do the same with the grands.

I imagine planning it out.....as I'm sure they did, having seen their other work.......I love how they managed to make each tiny cube become the epitome of the whole.....nice work.

I really like that one too.....I would be hard-pressed to decide a favourite,
though........maybe the salmon.....

Yes, your mothering style doesn't surprise me at all.
