I don't know enough about politics and economics to have a valid opinion but my suggestion would be look to history. The EU is new enough for people recall what things were like before it existed. Which way worked best? Spiritwoman ^i^

hi maisie, first of all uk is not england. im from scotland. i agree with you on a few things there, i think the open borders in europe is a disaster. EU major mistake is trying to have a united states of europe like america, difference is different language and different economies. And the citizens of the poorer countries moving to the well off nations. A bit like the whole population of michigan moving to california or new york, not stable. i think us investment would be better with a brexit, thanks for reply

thats interesting maisie, yeah obama intervened in the scots referendum which really angered me, it was none of his business. And he is doing the same with brexit not good. Ive taken an interest in US politics lately really interesting. there is people here thinking the US could break up, i hope not.

health is devolved to scotland, the scots nhs is paid for by the scots gov, hence why the the english nhs is being privatised. i stil think usa is heading for internal strife, california first

hi MySeek2day, good post and TTIP is a very scary idea that is causing a lot of debate in europe. I personally think its going to happen(TTIP) either way. The UK gov is a slave to big business. As for scotland, the thought of living under a tory uk gov out of europe terrifies me. They have no opposition at the moment, and basically can do whatever they like. Its a catch 22 situation.

My compassion goes to the slave. The word slave represent lowest but should the slave learn through observation and apply how the big business works independently, The UK gov can turn the wheel of fortune ,one step at the time for the future generation. I was born in 1955, my Singapore was still under the British affair until 1965, complete independent. We were 3rd World tiny Island where International come to us. But what make this Island works, Its the citizen have a built-in money making blood, by nature being of immigrant origin, from a 7yrs old child selling veggies on the street to the underage prostitude( was put to stop during the surface of hippy period) good obedience. Singapore is family business run applied into semi goverment then private it through creation of agencies under their watchful eye, with no fear of losing. It find money where other country dont.-LEVY on Foreign worker. Win win situation. It runs on decipline and no compromise within tolerance. I make no comparison base on land mass but it is the hard working populations that keeping this Island afloat. This is one country where the slave become the master,most easiest country to rule cos the citizen have no time for politice just obey for the roof and food clean street from crime where parent need not worry about their children while working, stays that way till present to maintain security and stability. i watch politice from age 8 until today. like watching the changes of lanscape in a clique of a mouse. There is hope for humanity ,each civilisation act accordingly, according to environment and the change to come. UK is a beautiful land , i am sure it will find survival with full intelligent juniors by working with togather present seniors to find solution in hypotactical fear for success.
