hello out there why is it so hard to find someone,,,,I'm not ugly...Is it worth it to respond to someone 500 miles away.....? I don't think so but that's all the email I get...Please help !!!!!!Tell me what I'm doing wrong!!!!!! |

Hawkslayer and I met on this site. I lived in southern Indiana, he lived in Georgia. We talked on the phone, e-mailed, used a webcam to see the other as we talked, etc. After 6 weeks he asked if he could fly up to see if what we thought was happening was happening. It was! I eventually moved to Georgia after each of us visiting back and forth. In 6 days we will be together 8 years! Just be careful, there are some crazies but on the other hand, some very wonderful people on the site. I didn't check where you live, I will when I get finished with this comment.

Back again. Go on Chat, you will eventually become familiar with the good ones, ignore the not so good ones. If you can, keep an eye out for Bashes, Get togethers, luncheons, etc. and see if one is close enough to attend. Many of us have met our mates on here! Mrs. Joe is one we have met, and her husband several times. He is Mr. Joe. hahaha Actually we have met well over 150 people over the years at various functions. Many numerous times. Several from other countries also. A few couples have been to our house to visit or stay a few days. I wish you luck!

I found dates, good friends of both sexes and a couple of long term relationships here but I do live close to a major city. It takes time. Enjoy making some internet friends while waiting for "the one". You might also want to give a couple of the more popular websites a try. Some of my friends say there is more activity there.
