While I understand the policy and why local police do not want to be burdened with enforcing immigration laws - it's doesn't break my heart when illegal immigrants get sent back when they don't respect our laws. Legal or otherwise, there is an expectation that immigrants abide by our laws and not become a menace in our communities.
