I say to just consider the source, whoever it is, and ignore it. IF, it is who I think you mean, then those kind of things are just said to shock and inflame and get a reaction. It appears that it succeeded with you. I chose to skip over such trivial things and you would do yourself a favor to do the same thing. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
