Tit for Tat

So running around in Puerto Rico partying with lobbyists instead of working on the shutdown is ok in Pelosi's book. It appears as though public relations trips are also ok, but attending a meeting to discuss the shutdown and a possible resolution is off her agenda. Yet she wants him to postpone the State of the Union address because of the shutdown? Oh, the hypocracy!!!

It's a sad situation in our federal government. The entrenched politicians of both parties, (read "swamp") were shocked and dismayed to have an outsider elected as POTUS. But it was because of them that he was elected.
Now the Democrats not only have to deal with Trump on one side, they also have that ultra left faction that is a laughing stock to the rest of the country.

I thought this was just a satirical meme.......... until I turned on the news! This is real.
What Congress people would even take off on a week trip like that, when part of the government is shut down?

Her hatred of Trump is what defines her and what seems to define her speakership as well. She's abandoned all reason.

Yes from both sides.
One thing for sure nothing is ever accomplished by ultimatum.
He will have to give in.
He walked out of the last meeting therefore the only way there can be another meeting is if his (whole) wall is funded. It will never happen.
So the ball is in his court & he took credit for the shutdown on international news.
He has boxed himself in.
Congress will be forced to compromise and when he vetoes it They will override his veto. That is the only way he can possibly save face.
He is forcing his OWN PARTY to break ranks with him in order to stop the hurt of those affected by the shutdown.

Voters are getting restless.
None of it is a laughing matter.
Those who think it is should be ashamed.
Many people are being hurt.

Let's see: Dirty Harry Reid disenfranchised every voter in the USA by keeping bills from being put on the floor for a vote: silence.

Donald keeps Nasty Pelosi from going joy-riding on the taxpayer dime:

EMPEACH!!!!!!

    Quoting  :

You think it's funny, for Trump to wield his power that way?

Your hypocrisy just amazes me..

Getting "revenge" is funny? .

I take no "pleasure" in saying this to you... I am dismayed not pleased.

Revenge? I see no revenge. What I see is leadership and an attempt to get the dems back to the negotiating table. Running off overseas to avoid negotiating is just downright stupid. But then, stupid is as stupid does.

Nancy Pelosi made it on the "No Fly" list. The only thing sweeter would have been if she had already been in Afghanistan and her flight back got cancelled. I am sure the American soldiers would be thrilled to have her as a permanent guest.

I'm sure they would have loved it especially if they could put her on the front lines.

There might be a little more to the story than tit for tat.

Trump, Pelosi and Schumer are in disagreement over money and the philosophy of how to spend it. I'd say they disagree with the philosophy of a billionaire president whose only major accomplishment so far is writing himself a billion dollars in tax breaks. That's just a guess though.

Pelosi said yesterday on twitter ...

"The suffering of our fellow Americans in #PuertoRico has been ignored far too long by the Trump Administration – and now the President will try to block important support for rebuilding efforts, including nutrition assistance for families. This cruelty cannot stand".

I'm sure you don't honestly believe that's the reason, now do you? Her hate for Trump supercedes the safety of the citizens of this country. That is clear by both her actions and her words.
