The Butterflies. The Butterflies. She was lost to a field of raining butterflies Her skin, a dazzle of kaleidoscopic amazing That I did rainbow a love from cobalt skies I lay her to a sigh of green, fireflies blazing To purpling breeze, the sweet zephyr calling I kissed her lips, a million butterflies shower To surrender soft wings in a myriad of falling Each wing became a velvet and emerald flower We lay to a sparkle of love’s joyous embrace The butterflies fused to a haze of colouration We saw a fusion melt, become an angel’s face Who smiled, to give us a butterfly's sensation Have you ever loved beneath vermillion skies Did your heart not flutter a million butterflies |
