Catawba worms! Yuck. Those trees and their flowers are beautiful, but those worms....... eeeek. And I'm not squeamish. One year, my husband and I decided to go to a lake about 60 miles away and do some night fishing, Somebody told us that Catawba worms were as good as night crawlers, so we went to my son in laws mother's house and gathered about half a coffee can full. BTW, she lives on a short street, called Catawba Street because of all those trees in the yards and the boulevard. He punched a few holes in the plastic lid, and put the can on the back floorboard, and away we went. A little over half way there, I was nodding off, when I felt something hit the top of my head. I put my hand up there and found......... a Catawba worm! Not only there, but on my lap, my shoulder, and all over the header and back seat. He hadn't got the lid on tight! Yuck, Yuck, and double YUCK! Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
