Reminds me of a story Joe told me. A gal he was dating in Charleston told everyone that she lived in an apartment complex with Janis Joplin when she was writing, "Me and Bobby McGee".
The problem was the time frame...... oh, and the fact that Janis Joplin did not write it.

Well, Hank, in all fairness, she was under the influence of marijuana at the time. Actually, she may have also under the influence of San Francisco Mayor Wille Brown on more than a few occasions. She was under him more than his wife, apparently.
