Politicians and the delicate lie.

Politicians and the delicate question.

The politician takes a swift approach
To play the tactical role of polite
Is the successful to a life-time’s coach
To never commit a wrong or a right

Is it that they prefer a middle road
To refrain from saying a yes or no
And how is a dodging to question’s load
A hidden lie, when noses longer grow

Will they ever give to an answer straight
Without them going around the houses
And why, when questioned, do they hesitate
In truth, what suspicion this arouses

Politicians are aware of their fate
And so avoid questions of delicate

Hello Ron,

I've gone through each of your poems.
With such a pleasure reading them.
It bestows a sort of a musical requiem.
An emotional type of a whelm.
