Imagination Imagination… Imagination is a euphoria of colourful thinking Though its master is contrary As to what is injected into a heart. To one is a soft finger of inspiration’s point, Such creative energy. Yet, to another is given the sharp sword, Of imagination’s fear which creates panic. But to all.. Imagination is that stretch beyond truth, Which furthers into a land of fantasy. And to the bad It is all devilish machinations. Yet to the good, that sweet land of fantasy Is where the artist begins to paint, And the writer gives land’s fantasy a description, While the poet, beloved of imagination, is the only one, Who knows the truth behind illusion's beauty and writes of it. |
