Is there a way to start some kind of club/group where we could communicate better with each other?

At one time there was a large group in north Texas-----up into Oklahoma-----over into Arkansas. We would attend luncheons at restaurants in the DFW metroplex several times per year. Some from the East coast attended and visit this area. One lady from England came here and stayed with friends who filmed her in their home and destroyed her in the chat room. I always wondered-----if they filmed her in parts of the home ? Did they film her in the shower. LOL So much for internet friends. LOL Another lady from way up north came here to visit a friend and her friend informed the chat room assassins personal things about her that only her so-called friend could know. I attended many of the luncheons and took a few friends with me but I learned quickly---it is best to keep the personal life very private. To make it short------ The fun thing to do in that internet group was to destroy someone. So it ended. It is best to actually know who you know. LOL Party On!

I wasn't thinking of get togethers such as you mentioned, I was thinking more on the lines of online interactions. Example, something where we can share notes on repairs, painting, music, cooking, etc...

Show up in the LOBBY chat room about 10:30... quite a few of us chat in here at night. We've pretty much gotten rid of the crud Your blogs are great with the step by step pictures along with the recipes.
