My granddaughter was supposed to be here this morning to pick up my food dehydrator for her Mom. I wonder if she is hiding under her covers?

I proceed as if nothing can stop me, however, I don't temp fate by walking under ladders or proceeding headlong past black cats.

I believe the Knights Templar origins to be the more plausible recourse to the phobia. Life goes on..................

Walking under a ladder I can understand, especially if there are tools, or a paint bucket up there. In the UK a white cat is considered to be bad luck.

I have to agree with you on this one.

I'm not superstitious. I'm not a cat person, had a black cat. It was evil, to me anyway..I called it Satan. Unless it is an airplane ladder I don't go near them. I'm too old for ladders now. BUT I do believe in pennies from Heaven. I think dimes r sent down from my late bf, he liked my silver coins.

There are no mentions in the chroniclers of the era prior to the demise of the Templars thus my conclusion. Had there been a suspicion prior due to the 13 disciples and Christ's death somebody would have stated it.

Zero superstition in my life.

Completely grounded in reality here.

Reality only exists in one's mind.. and in one mind is the only reality.

Never even realise when Friday the 13th arrives except if there's some hype about it. Not on my list of things to fear.

Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.
