Thanks Maudie, but no family today, but there is always something to be thankful for. Today is just a reminder of that.

I thought it was pretty interesting also, that's why I shared it.

I wish You a joyful THANKSGIVING with your loved ones, Niles. Thank you for posting the article by Michael Quinn Sullivan. Yes, Socialism has always failed - history has many examples.
I intended to post a blog on Thanksgiving Day and I am surprised that the interest in this part of American culture is so low this year. Is it the success of cancel culture?

My stepdaughter wanted to pick me up last night to celebrate today with them and stay with them over the weekend or even longer.... A bad inflammation of my left foot and the weather forecast predicting heavy rain all weekend starting Friday, we finally agreed to visit the following weekend......

Thank you Myseek. Today was a quiet day, Saturday will be festive! My granddaughter said she was excited about it and is bringing her guitar with her. Maybe my eldest daughter will grab one of my guitars and join us.

Cancel culture may be a part of why so many aren't celebrating, but it could also be the tradition of the day doesn't seem to be as popular as it once was.

PragerU has a 5 minute video called "The Book That Poisoned a Generation". It's about Howard Zinn and how he twisted American history. That might explain some of the cancel culture ideas we hear today.

Get to feeling better and enjoy your time with your step daughter next weekend.

Thank You Twilight!

My girls had to work also, and before I retired, it seems that I always worked the holidays too. Kind of makes me miss the old days when businesses shut down so their employees could enjoy the holidays with their families.
