Maybe just topping it off?

I'm laughing... or... sighhhing~~

When I gassed up on Wednesday gas was $2.04 per litre which is $7.75 per USA gallon..... and the person ahead of me had put in $10.01 ... so I can relate.

My tank was a hair below half and it took $98.85 when the pump stopped. The gas tank on an old 2003 Ford Windstar is a big one. Last year it cost me about that for a whole tank.

A postage stamp lawn to be mowed. Our lawn here takes 7-9 gallons to do.

I have a lawn care sideline. There was some gas left in the 100 gallon saddle tank yet it was about $500 to fill it. The price increases just get passed on to the customers.

It is the price of diesel that will kill our economy first... trucks, farmers and the railroads just pass the prices on to the customers... one way or another.

I'm at the point that every time I have to drive to town I top off my tank. I only make a trip there every two weeks, but every time I do, the gas price has gone up another 20 cents. Pretty soon I'll only go to town once a month, can't afford much more if the price keeps going up.

Doesn't sound postage size to me. 7 to 9 gallons? I don't even use a gallon of gas mowing around the house, the rest of the property is done by the tractor and horses, the back of the property is left to the wild life.

I know! The tractor and my old truck are diesels. I use them sparingly. The tractor seems to go forever on a 5 gallon tank, but the old Dodge? Not so much.

In Vancouver this past week gas was $2.29 per liter which is $8.70 in US dollars per gallon. My car isn't being driven very far these days at those prices.

I don't have a car or need one , but the cost living here is through the roof, and that's down to the increase in the price of gas. Some people can't afford to heat their homes, energy bills have gone up so much. I don't know where it's all going to end.

I heard by mid summer gas prices will be over $5.00 on average for a gallon.

We could try to look at the bright side of things, we are saving wear and tear on our vehicles and tires, but that is hard to do when you find out this is all being done on purpose.

It's like that everywhere now. I think of people on medicine, how long before some have to choose between food, or medications?

I could tell you where it's all going to end, but you wouldn't like it. I started warning people about this almost 3 decades ago, but no one listened and I was called crazy, even my daughters thought I was, but now they see it all happening before their eyes.
