I wish I could do that, not possible here.

Hi Nile: I'm sick of feeling stress when I watch the news these days. Every day it's about terrorists, wars, suicide bombers and of course all the lying and accusations in the seemingly never ending presidential elections. Even watching the Olympics was nerve wracking thinking about the terrible stress those athletes are under. I put on my earphones and listen to some beautiful music while I go for a walk, or watch a Charlie Chaplin or Bette Davis movie and usually feel better.
Hi Bijou, I don't watch the news, I don't have satellite or cable here, haven't watched it in probably 15 years, or more? Still can't get away from it though, between family, friends and the internet, there's no escape. I read a lot though and get the news from a local station when I am on line, but to sit there and listen to a bunch of talking heads, no thanks! So yes, that and the stress already in our everyday life gets to be too much at times. Movies are a good way to escape, I do it occasionally. Walking on the road here isn't good, too many loose dogs, a walk into the back meadow is always nice.

Being a hermit it's no problem.

If you want to be alone, dont wash, eat lots of garlic, leave a few old cars on the front lawn & have your music loud. Works for me.
Hahaha Hermit, I don't think I could live with myself if I didn't bathe and ate lots of garlic. I could just lock the front gate and put posters up saying trespassers will be shot, that would work.

Oh my you people are too funny. Running around in the nudies wouldn't be feasible where I live. My neighbor across the way likes to keep track of me. It would be my luck he would be waving from his balcony if I were to go out in my birthday suit. My escape would be to the Oregon coast. That is one beautiful area that is one of my favorites. I live close to the ocean so can walk out my back door and a few steps more be at the ocean where I can just sit and watch nature. It is an ever changing scene.

Hello Vec, nice too meet you. No waterfalls even close to where I live, but I have been to a few throughout my life, just haven't made it to the big one yet, Niagara Falls.

That's what I do when I go camping. I even find I sleep better in my tent then in my house. I don't know why that is, but it's true, and the more suggestions I get, the more I realize how much I have missed camping these last couple of years.

Haha, sounds like he has a little crush on you, huh?

I have one of those across the street from me, so wouldn't be surprised if he used binoculars, he's kind of nosy. So I'm with you, won't walk around in the nude here either.

I've been to the Oregon coast, several times, and I agree, it is beautiful. I love the ocean, you're so lucky to have that everyday.
