You should be worried about it! Mutant mosquitoes, what could go wrong? I heard they released mutant mosquitoes in Florida, and maybe, just maybe, that is why they are actually spraying and using the Zika virus as an excuse. The only problem I could see is stagnant water, and right now in Texas, without the rain, and everything drying up, there aren't many places for mosquitoes to breed in my area. Stock tanks could be a problem, but there aren't any near us, and most of those stock tanks have fish in them to eat the mosquito larvae and any other bug that is so lucky to fall in the water.

 Wow, that is very alarming. I am glad I don't live in Miami. Thanks for the info, Rae. I agree that I would take my chances with the mosquitoes over that spray.

 I've also heard there is a case of Zika that has been transmitted by sexual contact.
I wondered about the Ebola panic being hyperbole, now I wonder about this.

Hi there Elaine, haven't seen you in awhile, hope you are doing well.

I'm glad I don't either, live in Miami that is. With all the mosquito bites I have gotten, so far, so good, haven't died yet from one.

Maybe that's how it's spreading in Miami? The first time I read about the Zika virus, I thought the same thing, and the same with the Ebola scare. When you really think how they handled the whole Ebola situation, it was all wrong. They didn't shut down airports and let everyone on the planes where it all started. None of it made sense to me.

 I saw a conspiriacy thing saying that holding the Olympics in Brazil was to infect the contestants and spectators and spread it worldwide.

Who knows what they are really spraying around those swamps? Nothing like a few castenogens or some sneaky chemical to reduce the population eh?
Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.

I used Roundup once, had to be a couple decades ago, it didn't work on the weeds I was spraying, so I never bought it again. Now I make a homemade weed killer mix with vinegar, Dawn dish soap and orange oil.

I think you can call the city of Austin to find out what they are spraying, or their maintenance facility.

That's a new one on me, I haven't seen, or read anything about that one. I must be slipping!

Well, when we look at everything as a whole, it does make one wonder why do our governments allow certain things like this to happen? Toxins in our food and in the air make us sick, cause birth defects, kill the elderly. That's it!!! They are killing us old folk off!! I am sitting here laughing about them killing us seniors off, most of us are tough ornery old farts with a strong will to live, but thinking seriously about this, maybe the conspiracy theory about the death panels in Obamacare are true? They want to raise the Social Security age to 70, the government has already stolen 150 billion from SS, makes you wonder, huh?
