BBQ TONIGHT - I CAN'T WAIT! I can't wait until dinner. We are having a BBQ for family only. My boyfriend is too busy working, unfortunately. We haven't had one for 2 years and I have to admit, I love steak and hot dogs on the BBQ. Even a baked potato tastes better on it. I will eat some of it today and the rest tomorrow. Hi Elaine......sounds like a fun time. I only like barbecued hot dogs. Sometimes I go to the beach here where there is a street vendor and buy one of those hot dogs or a bratwurst. They do them on the barbecue and they always taste so much better when barbecued at the beach.

I hope you had a wonderful cookout and Happy belated Canada Day to you Elaine! The cartoons are great!! I especially like the one with "I'm the Chef, No you're not." Brings back many memories when I did all the preparing of the food and the husband took all the credit.

When our kids were young, we didn't do the grill thing, but we would build an open fire and roast hot dogs on sticks. I still love the taste of those, and on the rare occasion we have a family get together and cook like that, I cook extra to heat up later! I'm glad you get to have a family time. We are having rain today and part of tomorrow, so that will put a damper on many folks outdoors activity, but the spirit of the holiday is still very visible. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Enjoy your holiday. I'm spoiled becasue like boating as we BBQ year round. Large built in one at the family home, large but portable one hooked up to the natural gas system at my house and small but adequate one on the porch out here. I'm not much of a grill master myself so I leave the actual meat thing up to someone more skilled. Spiritwoman ^i^

Have Fun Elaine- I love Watching The 4th Celebrations from Wash DC on TV- Quiet Day With My Client- I Wish Her Son And Family Would Have Her Over For The Day But Not Happening so She And I Are Having Chili Dogs and Chips - Which She Loves She's Not A Fan Of Fireworks - It Got noisy with neighbors setting Them off last nite !! It's nice that your client has you but it's sad that her family didn't have her come spend the time with them.Elaine Shuel
