DO YOU EVER WISH YOU WERE SINGLE?

Have you ever wished that you were single instead of being married? Why?

Ha Elaine...well that certainly doesn't apply to me. Do I wish I were married instead of single the answer is no. I like my life the way it is.

I'm not the person to ask about this as my life style hasn't always fit my official marital status. There were times when I was married / single and others when I was single / married. I do think everyone would prefer a good compatible, compatible loving relationship no matter what it is called. The problem is that these relationships are hard to find and maintain. Even the most dedicated loner would give their freedom up if they found their ideal partner who felt the same way about them.

In a word, no.

There were times though, when I was 'single' after my husband died, that I enjoyed it so much I never thought I would want to get married again.

I loved being married to Eric. We had a wonderful and exciting life full of laughter.

I now love the single lifestyle. I wouldn't mind a companion to occasionally go out and about with or to travel with, but not a 24/7 relationship.

Beware of what you wish........... that is EXACTLY what I wanted when I met Joe, and was excited because I thought I had found it. I got a lot more than I bargained for, didn't I?

Rubi, I most definitely did NOT pose that question to help men looking for affairs. I owned a dating site and we didn't allow men who were married and wanted affairs.

I am sorry I haven't been around. I have a ton of medical appts this month so I will be on and off.

I see your point, Liszt. It seemed like a simple enough question but for those with spouses on here, not quite as simple.
