WORDS THAT FEMALES ARE CALLED

I was having a discussion with a guy recently and we do tend to around. He jokingly used the word bitch and I said that is one word I really dislike. He was just fooling around with me, for the record. Some men use that word during sex play, as I found out from my , but for me it really turns me off. We started talking about other words for women like broad and some words that would offend some of the ladies here.

What words do you men use to refer to women during everyday talk and during sex talk? Does the woman in your life appreciate it or dislike it? Ladies, what words do you like used to refer to women?

Hi Elaine: I hate it when men call women 'girls' or 'gals'. I like to be referred to as a 'woman'.

Having to rely on verbal communication only is reserved for the internet and for non emotional, social or professional communication. As others have said by the time I get to sex play I have already "screened" the other person so they would know what to call or not call me as well as be a person who also knows how to communicate on a non verbal level. I know most here would not understand it but people who live life in my realm recognize and emphasize the spiritual element of sex. I am not going to waste space explaining this one in this forum but the spiritual / energetic merging aspect of sex makes it far more powerful and amazing then relying on the physical and emotional aspects.

Thanks Diane but when I said about names, it didn't mean they had to be negative. If I said you are a good woman, it is meant in a nice way.

I absolutely agree, Pat. I should have added that my friend and I discussed that too. There are many words that depending on the context, can be negative even though the initial impression would be they are positive. Your "Hey Lady" is the perfect example. Thank you.

Hi bijou. I know what you mean. My sister and I have always been referred to as the girls. I never liked that. Of course, there are many that would have no issue with being called a girl or gal. Thanks for your comment.

I agree, RosesLady. The same word can be acceptable or not acceptable, depending on how it's said and what is intended.

Fair enough, Knxidy. Nobody should ever say anything that would make them uncomfortable. I am curious about what I wrote that made you laugh. Thanks for your comment.

What about the Tom Jones song "She's A Lady"? Sorry your reply made me think of that. Thanks for your comment, Just4AFewAgn.

Thanks Dan. I think there are very few words that bother me. Bitch is one of them. Lady or gal or woman, it doesn't matter, as long as it's said in a friendly tone without any negativity involved.

I noticed that American men use mam and lady a lot when describing a woman. We don't use those words much up here in Canada when addressing a woman you don't know. Maybe this is something peculiar to Americans.

They only time I have ever used 'mam' is when I was an airman and talking to a female officer.

Yes and I am called Miss often too. I prefer Miss to Mame since it sounds younger. Thanks for your comment, Shartaun03.
