DO YOU HAVE A DOUBLE?

I remember when I was younger and someone yelled out my sister's name. They thought I was my sister. To this day, everyone asks us if we are twins. Then they ask me my least favorite question: "Who's older?" My sister loves that. I'm younger than she is so she finds that amusing but It annoys me.

Anyhow, I saw this article about a site called Twin Strangers and it showed 2 people who aren't related and yet they look the same. Seems there is a site that finds your lookalike. I may join up one day but if I hear "Who's older?" and there's someone like me besides my sister, I may hit the roof. lol

What do you think about all this? Would you like to find someone who looks like you?

Have a great weekend. Sorry I haven't been around but I've been busy with a ton of things going on in my life.

When I was younger it was said that I was the double of Dickie Valentine, a very popular singer of the day, though I personally could not see the resemblance.

Alfie...

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Alfie, you could have had groupies. Thanks for your comment.

When I lived in Indiana I heard many times someone had seen "me" but wondered why I hadn't spoken. Wasn't me...

My girl's dad even called our daughter and wondered if I had been in Bloomington. He had seen "me" and "I" even smiled at him. Wasn't me...

Several years later I was at the Open House of our new jail and saw the Sheriff's wife. She said, oh there you are, then realized it wasn't who she thought.

I knew I would finally get to met my "twin". We both had on khaki slacks, black top, black shoes, very similar hair color and style, and similar glasses.

We chuckled and said we could see a bit of similarity. I told her about the people having "seen" me and told her about Bloomington. She had lived there for quite a few years but occasionally came to Washington where I lived to visit her sister.

I never saw her again after that day.

That's an interesting story, Ann. Thanks for sharing it. I think we all do have lookalikes but to actually meet one must be a unique experience.
