RELATIONSHIPS TAKE WORK!!!

I think that to have a successful relationship, you both have to care enough to make it work. Compromise is important and so is apologizing when you're wrong. Communication though is key. I can't tell you how many male I've had that don't share their innermost thoughts and fantasies with their spouses. That's how they ended up paying for calls with me.

Someone I know who avoided the draft in the 60's by getting married says "I should have let myself get drafted. That would have been over in 2 years." It is interesting how war effects this area of life. My parents, myself and one of my daughters all married sooner than we would had situations related to military service not been there. Looking at it positively it does put more romance into the story when we tell it later in life.

Yes it is too much work, depending on the person you're with. In my case, he's worth it.

I like that, Dan. Unfortunately, it cost less than that but you have the right idea.

Yes of course, TheHag. If there is nothing to talk about, in my opinion it's pure lust. That has its place but if that's the only thing that connects the couple, it's not a recipe for a long lasting relationship. Thanks for your comment.
