Time to tell more about myself This blog (obviously I mean mine not everyone's) is supposed to be for others to get to know more about me so I guess it's time I did that. Most of you probably already know that I write erotica, based on what happened. However, I used to be a computer programmer and accountant and have university degrees in both, along with a professional designation. I never expected to write sex stories but life sometimes takes funny turns. My first love lasted 7 years and frankly breaking off with him broke my heart. I believed that I was a one man woman and he was that man. I was wrong. My present boyfriend and I have been together 9 years this March. We have a connection that I never had with my first boyfriend. He is what some refer to as my soul mate. Given it's too late to have , which I really wanted, we probably won't get married. We are both set in our ways. I'll never say never though. We do love each other very much. I came on this site many years ago before I met my boyfriend. I actually forgot all about it, but last week someone wrote me. I'm sure that's happened before but I didn't notice them in my e-mails. I think they went to my junk folder. Anyhow I came on here and then decided to post one of my stories. I sincerely didn't realize it was an issue. I apologize to those that it bothered. As many here know, I've been blogging since that time and it's had its ups and downs, much like my job. That said, I've met some wonderful people here but I do have one major issue. Thanks for the welcome, boogie7103. I can see your point of view regarding erotica. That's fine. I won't be putting up any stories in my blog posts. As far as the groups where they would be welcomed, I might check them out. I have had some fun here and I do like meeting nice people. It's certainly been interesting thus far. Elaine Shuel

I look forward to getting to know you better too, RosesLady. We all have different facets to our personalities and writing erotica is only reflective of one aspect of mine. For the record, I've written a couple of children/young adults books too, so erotica isn't my only interest. Elaine Shuel

Welcome to blogland. I don't think we are prudes by a long shot. I am blind. My software allows me to "read" the material, however I can't see the images and my children will frequently be on the computer with me to explain details to me. It's the reason I'm on this site and not on the other adult friend finders site. If I wanted the erotic stuff I would go there. I think a little "spice" every now and then is a good thing tho. Every now and again some of us have been known to be naked in a pile.  Elaine Shuel

Welcome and ditto what most said. Many of us here have personal, family, professional reasons for wanting to keep some aspects of life private as you never know when you might be "vetted". I g@@@le myself every once and a while just to see what might be there. Crazy what comes up, particularly since 2 of my names are words in other languages. One name if Italian and another " American Oakie" and French language things show up. If translated directly they mean "thinking stone" which I change to stoned thinking just for giggles. Thanks for the welcome. I have spent too much time on this site because it's fun. That said, I do have a life and can't spend all of it here. I am watching some posts, quite a few actually. I definitely believe in freedom of speech as long as hatred isn't being promoted. I love the pics of dogs like Maria and Diane and others have posted. There have been other gorgeous photos from Lee and several people. I also like serious topics. All in all, this is a site that I like being on. Elaine Shuel

You're so sweet. Thanks for saying that. I want to respect everyone's feelings. I wish there was an erotic stories category at the magazine, like at their sister sites. That way those that enjoy reading erotica can and if members have children looking at the site, they'd know to stay away from that category. Elaine Shuel
