I don't think any of us know each other's whole story, so that's good advice. A very wise lady, ConeyIslandBabe, once gave some sage advice about this......... we never know the problems someone else is having.... could be drugs, alcohol, or mental issues. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
