We just got home from a nice fireworks display at the park 2 blocks down the street. We took our lawn chairs and crossed the road from where we parked across from park. I hear rain pouring down and off and on thunder. Thank heaven we got home first.

Fireworks are no longer allowed here except for the big municipal displays. So we will be spared the all-day, all-night noise. I can send you ear plugs if you want.
