All You Need to Know Donald won't be impeached. I doubt if a motion to do so will ever make it to a House vote. Why? It would be POLITICALLY damaging to the Dems. That's it. Whether it's right or wrong, the only consideration for Dems is: "Will it bring US more money and/or power?". |

I had never considered that angle of it...... just presumed they had a base that was as radical as they are. I did read that AOC actually had no opposition because the Republican was disqualified, or something made him totally ineffective. All this hoopla over the Mueller Report, that Barr went well beyond his legal obligations to provide Congress, is mere fluff. If they really wanted to impeach, they all ready have sufficient reasons to start the proceedings based upon the evidence (very limited and subjective) that Mueller provided in the report. They don't require a criminal conviction or even sufficient evidence to seek and indictment, and they know that. All Congress has to do is decide that the evidence suffices to impeach. Even though Mueller felt unable to get a criminal conviction and therefore chose not to charge Trump criminally, he provided Congress with their best evidence if they are foolish enough to still seek impeachment. They know all this but are simply wishing to save face. Add to the fact that they are desperate to find SOMETHING to run on in 2020. GBU all, Gavin
