Hired Thug? I'd Do it for Free First off, I'm an unabashed Patriot. USA First. Always. Those of you who know me know my fam (including me) have served in wartime since the Revolution. I get Xenophobic for the Olympics and, well, anything else which involves US vs. anyone else. I draw the line, however, at the slobs who shout during the swings of the competitors at golf matches. That includes the "Babba-booooowie"s of the Howard Stern zombies present at every televised event. I'm am particularly upset at the crawling slime who do it in the name of supporting your Country at golf events. The current Ryder Cup matches are what started this particular rant. I would gladly cosh anyone - from anywhere - who did it. We get a bad enough rep around the World to add to it with this sort of cretinism. |

On the OTHER hand, some of the spectators started singing the Star-Spangled Banner. The two American players approaching those folks stopped, took their hats off and put them over their hearts. Up yours, NFL "protesters".

I do not follow or understand golf, but good sportsmanship by the players and the spectators should be universal. It seems it is not taught or practiced much anymore. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
