Cheap Path to Virtue Political Correctness: being offended for someone else. It shows how good I am, right? Standing with the poor downtrodden ________ (whomever they may be). And I don't even have to associate with them. It reaches new heights, however, with White Guilt. Be ashamed of America because in the past, "we" did _________________. And the corollary that America must be punished. Turn it into a 3rd-World Cesspool because we are GUILTY. Nope. Sorry. Don't think so. If you feel you should be punished, go somewhere else. Don't punish the rest of us for YOUR guilt. Thanks. |
