Barry Lies Again Barry's knee jerk reaction - anti-gun rhetoric - was predictable. It's the blatant lie - fewer gun laws mean more gun violence - that was amateur even for him. The communities he "organized" in Chicago have draconian gun laws and rampant shootings. It's true of every community that has the strictest laws. Are you grubers ok with this? |

It does get very boring trying to get Americans to see any further than the ends of their noses.but here goes - education is an endless and thankless task. The COUNTRIES with the strictest gun laws have the lowest murder rates, this is true of EVERY CIVILISED WESTERN country in the world. It is not debatable it is simply a FACT. I await your rebuttal of this FACT with interest.- please quote actual figures and evidence in your reply not just bluster and rhetoric.

Please use actual figures yourself and not vague generalities. Be sure to include the countries who have bailed out Europe in 2 World Wars and kicked England's butt TWICE. Also add those "civilised western countries" who matter more than The Man With the Golden Gun's 3rd nipple, Mr. Bond. Total: 0. How's that for an actual figure.

Murder/homicide rates per 100,000 (actual figures mostly from 2012 - latest available) Japan 0.2, Singapore 0.3, Norway 0.5, Switzerland 0.6, Sweden 0.7, Algeria 0.7, Denmark 0.8, Spain 0.8,Germany 0.8, Italy 0.9, Austria 0.9, Netherlands 0.9, UK 1.0, France 1.0, Australia 1.1, Poland 1.2, Ireland 1.2, Portugal 1.2, Canada 1.6 USA 4.7. IF you can read these correctly you will see that the homicide rates in the USA are between 3 times as great as in the highest other western country (Canada) and 23.5 times as high as Japan. USA ranks 108th out of 218 in the world but is comparable with Cuba (4.2), Niger (4.6), Yemen (4.8 ) and only better than third world countries - many of which have little or no gun control. Even North Korea (5.2) is comparable with the USA. Of what might be considered first world countries only Argentina (which does have gun controls) , the Baltic Baltic states (Estonia and Latvia ) and Albania have worse figures than the USA - and they have no gun controls either. I await sensible figures from you to prove your point - but I will not hold my breath.

Did you misunderstand? Where did you get those numbers? You demand a lot but don't deliver yourself. Be sure to include the mass murders in gun-controlled societies. Hitler's Germany. USSR. Red China. Cambodia. BTW - NOTHING in your drool explains why your rock star, barry, had to lie. Try to address the blog and not just spew randomly.
