Poll: Fox News most trusted network Fox News has the most trusted network and cable news coverage in the United States, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released Monday. But network TV is much less trustworthy than it was in the days of Walter Cronkite, American voters say. In comparison rankings, 29 percent responded that they trust Fox News the most. CNN follows with 22 percent, CBS News and NBC News are at 10 percent, ABC News at 8 percent and MSNBC at 7 percent. Funny how we only get HALF the story from crazyhorse.FOX was also the MOST DISTRUSTED news channel. The just released Quinnipiac University National poll, which asked those surveyed of their level of trust in national TV news outlets in the U.S. finds – not surprisingly – that Fox News is the most trusted, and at the same time, least trusted news source. The poll asked “Do you trust the journalistic coverage provided by FOX News,” as well as that of NBC News, ABC News, CBS News, and CNN. While 35 percent of those who identify themselves as Republicans said they trusted FOX News “a great deal” and 45 percent responded “somewhat”, 44 percent of Democrats responded “not at all” and a further 16 percent said “not so much” Overall, only MSNBC is less trusted overall by viewers than FOX News and only 22 percent of Democrats say MSNBC can be trusted “a great deal”. The actual figures from the poll tell a very different story. These figures are taken from the actual graphic in the Quinniac report which I am unable to post here but which I will post on a separate blog so people can check it for accuracy). ONLY MSNBC has a significantly lower trust percentage and only MSNBC has as bad a NOT TRUSTED percentage as FOX.

If Fox is the most trusted news source, then everything I believe about the critical abilities of the great American public is true.
