THE GODS ARE ANGRY OUTSIDE

I am sitting in the computer room listening the rumbling of a storm on the way. Glad we are inside cozy and dry.

I was going to take the trash can down to the street but uhhh, I think I will wait until I go down to get the paper in the morning.

I bet I will look cute in my jammies, robe and if it is icky out I will wear shoes instead of slippers.

No one is usually up and around outside and if they go to the trouble of pulling back the curtain to see they get what they deserve..I will comb my hair though

I think Mother Nature and Father Winter are into a big knock down drag out fight right now. You are lucky to just be getting a thunder storm, other areas in the south are getting ice storms.

Now I want cute jammies, pink with little blue flowers.

Right now I have on a pair of blue scrubs pants I bought several years ago when I fell on our 4 wooden stairs going from the upstairs to downstairs. My foot and leg felt funny, I looked down and dang -no, damn- I had broken my fibia and tibia - as I found out at the emergency room at the hospital.

We live about a mile away from the hospital so I told Alfie to get our neighbor across the street to come and help. She helped me get dressed and had Alfie drive into the backyard and fortunately we have a flat wooden walkway just outside our bedroom.

I had no slacks, pants or whatever to go over the lovely cast I got to wear

When I got back from the hospital, we borrowed a wheel chair from our church so I could get out and go to Wal Mart and buy food and stuff.

In about 4 weeks I had to go to Macon to the hospital and have it set and the doctor said....you didn't just break your ankle you BROKE YOUR ANKLE!

It healed nicely and I can do anything I want, go anywhere and it still works great

Love this..... a blog about storms turns into one about jammies. I bought Joe several pair of lounge pjs with warm fleece pants and waffle knit tops, and I will admit that they are so comfortable I often steal a pair to wear all day, around the house that is. I've not gotten brave enough to wear them to town...… YET.

I got woken up by the storm at four am this morning, I thought it was someone breaking into the house. . It is still howling away out there now.

I love my pjs, and leisure wear, so very cosy and comfortable. I would never venture out in pyjamas though, no matter how cute.

IT IS VERY UNLIKELY YOU WILL MAKE THE LOCAL NEWS UNLESS THE COPS GET YOU FOR INDECENCY. YOU BETTER PUT ON JEANS TOO.
