Like I've told you many times, my Dad always called my Mother "Fat Arse" and it was meant to be a term of affection. I still use it in that manner as you very well know. I was pleased to see you had posted a blog on this subject, Fat Arse.

I don't remember my parents ever calling each other anything other than their names. My parents had a very dysfunctional relationship with many separations and eventual divorce. I wonder if having pet names for each other might be one of the signs of a healthy relationship? Never thought about this before.

y mothers nae was Ellen,my Dad called her Ellie.

My parents didn't use any cute names for each other.
