Ann, I know exactly what you mean(also hate musky smells). I've also come across that musk odour (from aftershave) and it's intolerable (omg)!!! Buy Alfie another one & throw that one out!!

You don't sound picky to me at all. If you dislike his aftershave he could at least try to please you by trying a different one. The minister is a more delicate problem, maybe you just don't hug him anymore?
