At least they didn't do what my granddaughter did - drag the dead fish in the house holding it up by the tail announcing that it had to have a proper funeral! Ever try to convince a 4 year old that flushing a fish down the toilet is a proper fish funeral?

When we had fish in the house when our girls were young, a toilet burial was what we did.

Young kids learn about death much sooner than we did and with all those shootings and other murders they see on television and in their video games, one fishe's demise at a relatively decent age can't possibly be all that shocking.
