Hmm a plant with a self mulching mechanism built in..I take it that the plant regenerates itself over the previous browned off plant.

I have heard that it is almost like a plague in the way that it smothers everything in its path. Thanks for your photo of it. We don't have it here in Arizona.

Hi Abelle. Yes, it looks pretty when is green. Does it has tiny flowers? Have a nice weekend. One thing we noticed, the Kudzu seems to just grow on one side of the road, not on both sides at once.

Our writing teacher is from the U.S. (now living in Canada) and was telling us about kudzu. He actually planted some in his yard because he was "homesick" for it. I don't think it lasted the winter. He showed us a picture where it was hanging from trees like Spanish Moss. Interesting stuff...and post. Thanks belle.
