I always enjoy our visits to the Uncle Remus museum. Because of the generosity of local people there is always something new to see in there. I never tire of going.

Alfie...

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Hi Ann, I too loved those stories when I was a young child. I remember that time in my life and the happiness back then. I would dearly love to visit that museum.

I don't remember when "Song of the South" was released, but I remember going to see it as a very small boy with my mom and brother. I also remember having a book of Uncle Remus stories, all beautifully illustrated. Ann, thank you so much for that beautiful collage and the very well done narrative. Mike

Hi again, Ann. I just Googled "Song of the South" and discovered it was first released by Walt Disney in 1946. I would have been five and my brother three. The song "Zippity Doo Dah" from the movie won the Academy Award for best motion picture song. I remember it so well. Thanks again, Ann. Mike
