Condolences to you Ann. What a great friendship to endure 44 years. I can but imagine the sadness you must be feeling.

Pat is without pain now. May she rest in peace.

Ann ~~ I'm sorry. Sending you hugs.

The positive is there. Sometimes it's just hard to find.

So sorry for your loss, but at least your friend is no longer suffering.

Dear Abelle: I am so sorry you lost your best friend. Life can be so scary and unpredictable. Sometimes I am afraid to answer the phone because I don't feel strong enough to handle any more bad news. I hope you will be o.k. Happy New Year and all the best to you. Bijou xoxo

Condolences, Ann.

Losing an old friend on the eve of a new year is heartbreaking, but I think your friend would want you to raise a toast to your friendship.

Oh Ann I am so sorry to hear this. I can sympathize... I lost my best friend of over 30 years back in 2002 to breast cancer. Memories of her surround me (photos of us etc) and I often think of her. Each time I speak with one of her grown children I choke back the tears. Only time will heal but please know that you have our heartfelt condolences. God Bless. Both Larry and I know what it is to lose someone close.
