Great shot ...... great story too. Do ya suppose that Kentucky claims ownership cuz they need all that water for their moonshine? Naw -- probably not Mike

Its lovely Ann. Todays shots show summer and lots of snow!! I like the summer but have come to accept the fall of the year, as the colour of the trees is beautiful. Green and rust.

Nice shot, I love the different shades of green. Forty shades of green is a lovely Irish song:

But most of all I miss a girl in Tipperary town
and most of all I miss her lips as soft as eiderdown.
I long again to see and do the things we´ve done and seen
where the breeze is sweet as shalimar and there´s Forty Shades of Green.

I recall when you took that trip and we kept in touch via the cell phone. Wasn't too many months before you moved down here, was it?

Alfie...

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

The "Mighty" Wabash River is on the western side of Indiana, separating Indiana from Illinois. The Ohio River separates Indiana from Ohio on the southeastern side and Kentucky.

i wonder how mere human beings work out that they 'own' a river !!
