Peggy Disney Pasted away 4/1/2015 My sister - Peggy Disney- left my world on 4/1/2015. Peggy was 76 and I and Donna had taken care of her since early 2014. She had fell and broke her hip in 2013. The Arizona Dept of aging had stated se could no longer live by herself. I came out in Jan 2014 and then Peggy went back to Texas with me. Peggy came back to Tucson in late 2014. I came to Tucson in Jan. She had gone to the bank with a neighbor. When they came back, Peggy fell getting out of the car. I helped her up and walked her to the porch. I told her to wait and I would go unlock the front door. Typical Peggy - she did not wait and made it to the second step of the porch before she fell backward and hit the back of her head on a concrete stepping stone. By the time the fire department got there, she was no longer alive. Peggy and I were very close and I will miss her. She was actually improving and had not fell for several months. She always enjoyed the meals fixed and was gaining weight. I sat with Peggy all of March 31 and spent a lot of time holding her hand and talking to her. Cried a lot. Was always glad to be there for her and help her whenever she needed help. I will miss her - she was a great sister and friend. RDD |
