how lovely, some great photos, thank you for those, its always interesting to be able to put a face to the name... hopefully when you return next year, you will be able to linger longer as it were, and spend more time chatting in the flesh, and yes, taking your wife with you, am sure will help. sorry that you were so worn out and tired lol. guess that happens at our age. hope you are feeling tickety boo again now. I spoke to Archer in the lobby about your visit, she was delighted to see you too. take care, cant wait for the next instalment. such an interesting blog.... thank you,

Fantastic! You touched on one of the down sides to meeting "internet friends", sometimes it is a one time event and when it is a good meeting, it's sad to know it may never happen again. We are all scattered so far apart.  Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

THANKS FOR THE NICE COMMENT LOTH. I WAS A BIT WORRIED ABOUT OUR LITTLE PROBLEM GETTING THAT MILK FOR YOUR TEA. IF WE HAD GONE TO CANNES IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BY BUS. PARKING THERE IS DIFFICULT AND VERY EXPENSIVE. NEXT TIME I HOPE MAUDIE WILL BE WITH YOU.

LOVELY VISIT WITH SEG TODAY IN NICE. I SHOWED HER THE MAIN PLACES ON INTEREST AND WE HAD A NICE LUNCH. NOW SHE WILL BE ABLE TO GET AROUND TOWN,TAKE THE BUSES AND TRAM AND SEE THE REST OF THAT BEAUTIFUL CITY. SHE WILL BE COMING TO ANTIBES SO I CAN SHOW HERE AROUND NEXT THURSDAY. LOVELY WEATHER TODAY, HERE IS HOPING IT LASTS.

LOTH WE HAD A LOVELY TIME, THE WEATHER WAS BEAUTIFUL AND WE WALKED THROUGH THE OLD TOWN AND MID-TOWN GARDENS. I ALSO HELPED HER PURCHASE A MULTI TRIP BUS AND TRAM TICKET. SORRY TO HEAR YOU ARE STILL ILL. SANDY IS SUPPOSED TO COME TO ANTIBES THURSDAY I AM KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED.
