I have never used the phrase, never even thought of America that way, but I've heard the expression coming from race baiters.

The funny thing about a two word noun....is the redundancy of having to say them both.....Like a liberal saying a Nazi Racist....When one so strongly connotes the other. you can just leave one of them out...
My blog intended to create that redundancy... not create the word..."White America".
That word is not used commonly.....because it has no need to be said.
Except by those..Nazi, racist, white Americans. who's only wish is to be divisive..

The distinction arises from our common use of "Black American", "Hispanic American", "Muslim American" and "Asian American"... We defined those terms as segments of American.....there is no need to say "White American", or "Caucasian American".....Only those who are "other Americans" need to define who they are..

Again the irony and the proof.. is not only in "White America" believing that "White America" .. would be redundant and not having to say it.
But those "others".... do NOT define themselves as separate from each other......but separate from..'White America".

This is not NEW.. It's old as America itself.....but it needs to change..
It's been changing...some people haven't noticed it...and some refuses to.

We are all old enough here.. that we should remember this...To me it's clear as day..
The day for me..... it started changing..

We filled out forms and applications... And when it came to ethnicity..I could go right by it... I had no ethnicity.. I was American...

Then maybe forty years ago... someone decided to put in a checkbox for race/ ethnicity.
of..... WHITE/CAUCASIAN!
That kind of surprised me... I always thought.. I was American...!

Thank you.. for adding to my point .. instead of trying to subtract from it..
Yes it is about the "other".. the other America, the other races, the other nationalities, the other gender, the other class, the other political ideology.......It all about the "other"........and what "other" Americans means to you.... what ""other" connotes to YOU

I agree people who say.."White America" are race-baiters..they aren't creating it... They are throwing into people faces...
Because people who think it and don't say it......aren't throwing it in the other faces.....aren't trying to screw someone else, but are complicit in the screwing..
They may not be race-baiters.. but are just baiting the race-baiters.. they are complicit by allowing their desire for "master" baiting.????

Do you understand that placing words between quotation marks means that those are the actual words said?........I did not say that, I said that you participate in Hiram's racist and sexist language.......I have never called you a racist, I have said you sometimes use racist language.....know the difference.

And Liszt. I'm sorry that referring to you as "your old man" when talking to Maisie hurt your feelings. Where I live, referring to a spouse as my/your old man or old lady is common and considered affectionate.......differences in culture on the Canadian West Coast versus the American South- East are inevitable. I won't use it again.

I have burn scars on my ankles from Harley exhaust pipes and I do look damn good in black leather chaps, I'll have you know.... I have been to a meet or two and when they yelled "show me your tits". I did.

I know this is chasing a rabbit that veered off topic, but I wanted to add that I agree with Lulu about the use of the term "your old man" or "your old woman".
I've heard that term, and used it, all my life and considered it a term of affection that brings the image of a comfortable relationship between the couple.

I use quotation marks.... to distinguish between what is actually said.. and it's different meanings..

Well, how very proper of you........I don't know how things are in the Middle of the Atlantic where you come from, but in the rest of the developed world, there are many diverse configurations of adult relationships.....one doesn't always know what exactly the legal status of a cohabiting couple is, or how they prefer to be referred to, so various colloquialisms are used...

I made a joke.....you never get them.........In one of your recent blogs I commented on your rudeness in referring to many people by nasty nicknames and you flipped me off.....You are one of the most rude people I have ever come across, so your sanctimony is laughable.......
